Assignment 1
This is my final product for the first assignment “the imaginary dream” created on photoshop CS4. This project is my first time using photoshop, and I feel like I learned a lot of useful information on how to use the program, which will come in handy with other classes, personal photo collections, editing my portfolio, ect. For this assignment, I used photos of my room mates and various drinks. This series represents of one of last year’s (first year university’s) impossible dreams.
Long Weekend
Did anyone else take the Tsawwassen – Swartz bay ferry this past thanksgiving weekend? The crazy lines seemed hardly worth visiting the family for a large awkward turkey dinner and no leftovers (as they would spoil on the ferry ride home). My small family is a new addition onto another much larger family and this year’s number of people at the dinner table was rather overwhelming. Overall, I spent most of the weekend blending into large groups of people. Anyone else run into the same sorts of problems? One nice thing was hearing how badly everyone wanted to know how school over at Emily Carr was going for me, and I was pleased to say I was learning lots and enjoying it. I also met nice people one the ferry while waiting in line. I suppose I didn’t blend in all that much after all:)
